What a Month

First up, we had our delightful knitting sessions. Whether you were a pro or a total newbie, everyone got stuck in, clicking away with those needles. There’s something so soothing about knitting, isn't there? Plus, we've ended up with some gorgeous scarves and hats to show for it. I think we might have a few budding designers among us!

Next, we channeled our inner fashionistas with some bag-making fun. A few ladies cut out the patterns for totes, make up bags and pencil cases. Whilst others used their sewing skills to put them together And the best part? Seeing the end product of all our hard work.

We didn't just keep our hands busy; we engaged our minds too with a riveting discussion on AI. Who knew artificial intelligence could spark so many interesting conversations? From the future of tech to ethical considerations, we covered it all. It was fascinating to hear everyone's thoughts and concerns.

Switching gears, we got our hands dirty with a bit of gardening. There’s nothing like digging in the soil and planting some greenery to lift the spirits. The fresh herbs and flowers are a testament to everyone's hard work and green thumbs.

One of the highlights was definitely the visit from Chase farm talking therapies department. The talk was enlightening, to say the least. We learned so much about staying present and finding peace amidst the chaos of daily life. It was the perfect reset button for our busy minds. We look forward to our next session on Sleep…. Can’t wait!

And let's not forget about our preparations for the summer festival on the 31st of August! The items we have been making will be on sale to raise money for future group activities. It’s going to be a busy few months. Let’s hope the weather is kind and makes it a day to remember,

Last but certainly not least, we’re all buzzing with anticipation for our mystery seaside trip. The destination is still a secret, but that's part of the fun! Sun, sand, and sea await us, and I can't wait to make some more wonderful memories.
